I grew up in the Corvallis community and became familiar with the area while riding my bike on the streets of downtown. I attended Crescent Valley High School and then Oregon State University where I received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Business. While in college I was member of Alpha Phi sorority and continue to enjoy building relationships with my fellow sisters.
After college I worked with my father in hotel/motel real estate sales in the state of Oregon. During this time I was introduced to Mike Kopetski, from there I moved to Salem and became a staff member in the United States Congress. In working for the Congressman I learned the importance of being a public servant and how much listening to the people and excellent communication play a part in the business community. After five years in Congress I decided to follow in my father’s footsteps and renew my career in Real Estate.
I became licensed in 1985 and started out in Salem. After practicing in Salem and Keizer for several years I couldn’t resist the Corvallis atmosphere and moved back. I have now been involved in Corvallis Real Estate since 1999 and can’t think of a better place to be. I understand that home buying and selling is an emotional experience and I pride myself in being a professional voice for my clients during that time. I maintain a high level of personal service, innovative negotiating skills, diligence and above all patience. I have earned respect from my peers by being honest, loyal, and devoted to my clients. This is one of the many reasons I am working at Town & Country Realty. I believe that Town & Country’s community values and high level of professional real estate services align with mine.
I enjoy making Corvallis a better place to live and showing it off to newcomers. For this reason I have become involved in many community activities including, Cornerstone Associates, Taylor Street Ovens, Downtown Corvallis Association, Downtown Planning Commissions, and Corvallis Chamber of Commerce. In participating in all of these activities I have become more knowledgeable and engaged in the why new laws and regulations can impact our community. This has intern allowed me to teach first time home buyers classes at Willamette Neighborhood Housing.
I love to explore the many outdoor activities and scenery Oregon has to offer like hiking the cascades, riding horses in the valley, spending a day on the slopes, and visiting the beautiful beaches. I am also an avid sports fan and often travel to out of state OSU sporting events. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my nephew’s school events at the same places I grew up! I love Corvallis and the entire mid-Willamette valley’s livability, location close to everything, and its people! I would truly appreciate the opportunity to show you why I call it home.
