Elizabeth grew up in the Corvallis community and became familiar with the area while riding her bike on the streets of downtown. She attended Crescent Valley High School and then Oregon State University where she received a Bachelor of Science from the College of Business. While in college Elizabeth was member of Alpha Phi sorority and continues to enjoy building relationships with her fellow sisters.
After college Elizabeth worked with her father in hotel/motel real estate sales in the state of Oregon. During this time she was introduced to Mike Kopetski, from there Elizabeth moved to Salem and became a staff member in the United States Congress. In working for the Congressman Elizabeth learned the importance of being a public servant and how much listening to the people and excellent communication play a part in the business community. After five years in Congress she decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and renew her career in Real Estate.
Elizabeth became licensed in 1985 and started her career in Salem. After practicing in Salem and Keizer for several years she couldn’t resist the Corvallis atmosphere and moved back. She has now been involved in Corvallis Real Estate since 1999 and can’t think of a better place to be. She understands that home buying and selling is an emotional experience and she prides herself in being a professional voice for clients during that time. Elizabeth maintains a high level of personal service, innovative negotiating skills, diligence and above all patience. She has earned respect from her peers by being honest, loyal, and devoted to her clients. This is one of the many reasons Elizabeth is working at Town & Country Realty. She believes that Town & Country’s community values and high level of professional real estate services align with hers.
Elizabeth enjoys making Corvallis a better place to live and showing it off to newcomers. For this reason she has become involved in many community activities including, Cornerstone Associates, Taylor Street Ovens, Downtown Corvallis Association, Downtown Planning Commissions, and Corvallis Chamber of Commerce. In participating in all of these activities Elizabeth has become more knowledgeable and engaged in the new laws and regulations that can impact our community. This has in turn allowed her to teach first time home buyers classes at Willamette Neighborhood Housing.
Elizabeth loves to explore the many outdoor activities and scenery Oregon has to offer like hiking the Cascades, riding horses in the valley, spending a day on the slopes, and visiting the beautiful beaches. She is also an avid sports fan and often travels to out of state OSU sporting events. She enjoys spending time with family and watching her nephew’s school events at the same places she grew up! Elizabeth loves Corvallis and the entire mid-Willamette valley’s livability, location close to everything, and its people! Elizabeth would truly appreciate the opportunity to show you why she calls it home.
