Ethyn Kelley believes that honest relationships are the key to both life and a successful real estate transaction. Making his clients feel comfortable in every decision and at every stage of buying or selling their home is paramount to the way he conducts business. A proven people person, Ethyn is passionate about exceeding his clients’ expectations while helping them reach their goals. Whether his clients are buying, selling, or investing, they can count on Ethyn for his accountability, dedication and integrity.
A Willamette Valley native, Ethyn grew up in Corvallis and attended Corvallis High School. He continued on to the Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon, where he studied journalism and advertising. He graduated with honors after completing an undergraduate thesis focusing on the relationship between environmentally-oriented advertising and climate change. Since graduation, Ethyn has worked in the service industry, dabbled in non-profit work, and developed expertise in finance working as a financial analyst. This varied experience allows Ethyn to be adaptable, knowledgeable, and educated in all aspects of the home buying and selling process.
Ethyn receives flak from his friends for refusing to describe himself as either a cat or a dog person, and believes there is wisdom to be derived from both companions. Sometimes it’s best to be unconditionally loved and sometimes it’s best to love unconditionally. Despite his preferred pet bipartisanship, he and his partner, Rachel, love fostering dogs for the Oregon Humane Society in their spare time.
The foster pups are a great excuse for Ethyn, an avid outdoor enthusiast, to find his next amazing hike somewhere in the mid-Willamette Valley. Additionally, Ethyn loves to kayak, snowboard, golf, and mountain bike—preferably when the sun is out, but a little rain doesn’t stop him. Ethyn is even known to participate in the occasional triathlon.
