How to Say Comfortable at Home Year-round
Brought to you by Corvallis Heating and Air, LLC
At Corvallis Heating and Air, our number one mission is keeping the mid-Willamette Valley comfortable. We provide heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) service for Benton & Linn Counties with stellar customer care. From ensuring your furnace is consistent on chilly nights this winter, to helping your AC kick on during hot summer days, Corvallis Heating and Air is here for you.
The number one question we are asked is how to prolong the life of a furnace or air conditioning unit. By far, the best maintenance item you can perform on a unit is annual or bi-annual service of your HVAC system. These low-cost service appointments not only confirm your units are clean and safe, they also are an opportunity to look at any potential issues or failures on the horizon.
If you notice your unit is making bizarre new sounds, turning on and off at strange intervals, or generally behaving unusually, that is the time to call us and get the unit inspected. Understandably, we often receive these calls after weeks of erratic behavior. Instead, call us at the first hint of trouble. This will allow us to plan ahead for parts and will keep your system functioning before it reaches a failure state. While not every problem can be caught in advance, calling early is the number one way to avoid uncomfortable temperatures in your home. We are never bothered to hear from you, so please call us with any questions!
We also receive inquiries about when to replace a furnace. Updating your furnace before it fails is highly advised. If your furnace is more than 18 years old, it may be more cost effective to plan for a new unit now. Furnaces built now are far more energy efficient than in the past, so an upgrade can provide cost savings on utility bills immediately. The reduction in monthly expenses and avoid stress of a failing unit is worth the investment!
In addition to servicing, repairing, and replacing HVAC systems, we also love to install gas fireplaces for our clients. These fireplaces are an efficient way to heat an area of your home. The gas fireplace inserts are beautiful, cozy, and add an ambiance to your living area or bedroom that is truly luxurious. The joy of a fireplace coming to life at the flip of a button may be just the thing to spruce up your home.
